OUR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
A 12-Month Plan for Meaningful Progress
Our implementation plan follows a structured twelve-month timeline, beginning with staffing, training, safety preparation, and enrollment. From program launch through full operation and evaluation, each phase supports organized delivery, ongoing improvement, and accountability toward the program’s goals.
01 · MONTHS 1–2
Pre-Launch Preparation
Hire program staff, recruit and screen tutors and mentors, finalize curricula and safety policies, purchase materials, open enrollment, and conduct neighborhood and school outreach.
02 · MONTH 3
Program Launch
Host family orientation, complete baseline assessments and individual learning plans, begin after-school academic sessions four days per week, and establish initial mentor matches.
03 · MONTHS 3–5
Initial Implementation
Activate all seven program components, begin leadership and workforce tracks, establish elder-outreach visits, launch a youth-led service project, and build enrollment toward approximately 90 youth.
04 · MONTHS 6–10
Full Operation
Work toward approximately 120 enrolled youth, expand summer enrichment hours, complete workforce capstones, organize intergenerational events, and use the Month 6 evaluation review to guide improvements.
05 · MONTHS 6, 9, 11–12
Evaluation & Improvement
Review program data quarterly, collect participant, family, and elder satisfaction feedback, document findings, and implement program adjustments.
MONTH 12
Final Reporting & Year 2 Planning
Complete a comprehensive year-end evaluation to measure progress against program goals and outcome targets. Analyze participant progress, review feedback from youth, families, and older adults, and document key achievements and areas for improvement. Prepare the final report for the funder, summarize lessons learned throughout the implementation year, and use these findings to refine program activities, strengthen service delivery, and develop a strategic plan for Year 2.
